First Word Praise Team
The First Word Praise Team plays helps lead worship during our First Word service, which includes several styles of music in a 'blended' worship. The team includes high school students through adults, and rehearses in the Sanctuary on Tuesday evenings at 6:00 PM.
Sanctuary Choir
The Sanctuary Choir plays a vital role leading worship during our Traditional service. The choir includes high school students through adults, and rehearses in the Sanctuary on Wednesday evenings at 7:15 PM during the school year.
Summer Choir
The Summer Choir is open to high school age students through adults, and sings during the Traditional worship service during the summer. Singers are encouraged to come and sing on the Sundays they are available; the only requirement is attendance at a brief rehearsal in the lower level Choir Room (Room 009) a half hour prior to worship.
Jubilant Bells Handbell Choir
The Jubilant Bells Handbell Choir is for high school students and adults. The group plays quarterly in worship services, and occasionally participates in other community concerts and festivals. Rehearsals are in the lower level Choir Room (Room 009) at 6:15 PM on Wednesday evenings.
Youth Praise Team
The Youth Praise Team helps lead worship during special services and events, such as Youth Sunday, and focuses on more contemporary songs for worship. The team is made up of instrumentalists and vocalists; rehearsal days and times are to be determined.
Vocalists
There are a variety of opportunities for individuals to provide special music by singing as a soloist or as part of a small vocal ensemble.
Instrumentalists
There are a variety of opportunities for individuals to play an instrument in a small ensemble, in the church orchestra, or as a soloist, providing music for our worship.
Drama Team
The Drama Team helps to prepare and present skits, monologues, group readings, puppet shows, and other dramatic presentations designed to enhance our worship experiences.
Visual Elements
The Visual Elements team helps to prepare visual elements for worship experiences, including banners, signs, displays, and items for the congregation to take home. Other team members work on costumes, makeup, scenery, and set design for dramatic presentations.
