Mission Outreach Ministries
Our Mission Outreach Ministry area develops deeply committed Christians by encouraging and enabling members of our congregation to minister in our community, denomination and world -- making disciples and serving others in ways that honor God, share Christ, transform lives, and promote justice.
We are a Covenant Relationship congregation
First Church is a Covenant Partner with two missionary couples: Rev. Dr. Dennis and Dee Dee Heffner, serving the Northern New Mexico Group Ministry and the McCurdy School, in Espanola, New Mexico; and Revs. Dave and Kristin Markay, serving at Chiesa Evangelica Metodista (the international congregation of the Methodist Church), in Milan, Italy. On an ongoing basis, we pledge to support their work with our finances and our prayers. As newsletters about their missionary work become available, they will be posted on our website's Newsletters page.
