Children's Ministries
The goals of the Children's Ministries are to guide children from birth to know, love and follow Jesus Christ; and to help their families become deeply committed Christians.
Sunday School:
Sunday School is provided for children ages 3 years through 5th grade. Sunday School starts at 9:45 on the second floor.
Nursery Care:
Childcare is provided for children at all services and during the Sunday School hour by adults:
8:30 Service - Children ages birth through 5 years old
9:45 Sunday School hour- Children ages birth through 2 years old
11:00 Service- Children ages birth through 3 years old
Children's Church:
Children's Church is provided for children ages 4 through fourth grade during the 11:00 Service. Children start with their families in the service, and leave after the Children's Moment. The kids learn to worship God in a setting that is age-appropriate.
Preschool:
Child Of God Preschool is a ministry of First Church devoted to today's child. Child of God Preschool is committed to providing an interesting program in a safe, nurturing environment that encourages the total development of a preschool child. Scouting:
First Church sponsors Boy Scout Troop 4.
